Viktor Sommer, the founder of Black Tea Motorbikes, a German e-mobility startup based in Munich, strongly believes that electric motorbikes are the solution to making personal transportation more exhilarating. His passion for the raw power and intense acceleration of traditional motorbikes led him to notice the lack of appealing options for electric alternatives on the market. While there are plenty of Vespa-style sit-down scooters available, they do not satisfy the thrill-seeking desires of riders like him.
Following the success of their first electric motorbike, the Bonfire, Viktor has now introduced their latest creation: the Electro Scrambler “Wildfire”.
Featuring a unique stainless steel frame, the Wildfire sets itself apart as the first electric motorcycle to utilize this sheet metal technology. The strong and durable frame allows for more space to be dedicated to vital components like batteries and control devices. Additionally, the use of ultra-hard stainless steel and aluminum in the skeleton minimizes the chances of dents, damage, and corrosion over time.
Every part of the body is created in Germany and meticulously inspected and put together by the skilled team at Black Tea Motorbikes in Munich. They only use strong rivets typically seen in aircraft construction. The combination of aluminum and stainless steel materials make your Wildfire low-maintenance and resistant to corrosion. Of course, it’s always a good idea to give your motorcycle a clean every now and then.
The 3.3 kW Charge Tank allows you to charge your vehicle at any charging station, wallbox, or regular socket. With this system, it only takes 1.5 hours to fully charge each battery. For even faster charging, the mobile 6.6 kW charger can cut your time in half and recharge up to 150 km per hour. Every Wildfire model comes equipped with one battery, but you also have the option to add a second battery, doubling your range and allowing you to travel up to 250 km on a single charge. The Type 2 charging cable can be conveniently stored in the 5 liter storage compartment under the seat.
