Testimonials serve as an effective marketing strategy since prospective buyers tend to trust actual user experiences over corporate ads. There are still uncertainties about electric motorcycles, such as concerns about battery life, range, and charging infrastructure. Testimonials help alleviate these concerns by offering firsthand accounts.
THE PACK has gathered 3 stories from clients of different electric motorcycle brands. Customers frequently highlight their favorite and personal features, which emphasize the brand’s main advantages.
FTN Motion: Inner city life running a brewpub in Parnell, Auckland
Author: Mathew (FTN’s marketing guy) | How does the Streetdog fit into your week? John Austin: “It’s my daily commute to and from work, and the other great thing is free parking. Parking around here is pretty expensive, so any kind of bike or scooter is perfect for that. I can go back and forth multiple times a day without stress. Plus, for errands, I can fit things in the bike or a backpack. Grocery trips are so much more fun. Auckland’s a great city for it. You can zip around the entire inner city in 50km speed limit zones – from Parnell to Mission Bay, Newmarket to Grafton, Grey Lynn to Ponsonby – that whole loop back to the CBD is so easy to whip around. Any business stuff, running errands, or visiting people – the Streetdog is ideal for all of it.” Read the full story at FTN’s website:

Savic Motorcycles Electric Pioneers: Michael, customer #235
Source: Savic Motorcycles | Once in a while a customer comes along whose passion for the C-Series and our company ethos is so great, it melts our hearts. That’s certainly the case with Michael, whose love of motorcycling is so strong, it has literally given him a new life.
Twenty years ago, Michael, an aircraft engineer, had an accident at work that severely injured his lower spine. Over the next three years he had two surgeries, but was still in constant pain – sometimes barely able to walk. Almost as bad for this “motorcycle nut” was that he had to give up riding, selling his beloved bikes and abandoning the weekend runs and track days that were some of his happiest times.

But the story was destined for a happy ending. In 2021 Michael underwent a third operation to fuse two vertebrae, a procedure that brought him lasting relief. So great was the respite that he bought a brand new motorcycle – and put his name down for the “super-stylish” C-Series.
“We all have that thing that we need to pick ourselves up, and for me it’s riding motorbikes,” says Michael.
So we were delighted – if not totally surprised – when the 55-year-old Melburnian pitched up for one of our early test rides. “It took me one corner and one straight and I was hooked,” he says.
“The throttle is instant and perfect, the cornering amazing. I thought it would be a bit top-heavy, but it’s perfectly balanced – and so quick! And it stops on a dime: the brakes are super-responsive. Doing city riding without having to change gears is going to be a dream!”
