THE PACK is an informational website about electric motorcycles, electric scooters and some other light electric vehicles. It’s a Belgian initiative from Guy Salens to present a realistic overview of existing electric motorcycles today and some future projects.

Dealer ID labels and Shout-Out(s)

THE PACK offers motorcycle dealers and/or brands a paying Dealer ID-label in THE PACK’s overview and Shout-Out(s) = a subscription to publish press releases, created by our customers. Purposes of the processing

THE PACK collects and processes dealers and clients’ personal data for displaying their ID-label or publishing their story on the website of THE PACK. Data from dealers and clients are also used for customer and invoice management.

Legal foundation for the processing

Personal data is processed based on Article 6.1. required for the implementation of an agreement of the General Data Protection Act. [Insofar as the processing of personal data takes place based on Article 6.1. dealers always have the right to withdraw the given consent.

Transfer to third parties

The responsible company for processing information, THE PACK respects the Belgian law of 8 December 1992 regarding the protection of privacy in the processing of personal information. The personal information shared with us is used only for the purpose of displaying the Dealer ID-label and story at our website. We treat this information as confidential and shall not rent or sell it to third parties.

Retention period

Personal data processed for dealer and/or client management will be stored for the time necessary to satisfy legal requirements (in terms of bookkeeping, among others).

Right to inspection, improvement, deletion, limitation, objection and transferability of personal data

The dealer/client has at all times the right to inspect their personal data and can have this improved if it should be incorrect or incomplete, have it removed, limit its processing an object to the processing of their personal data based on Article 6.1 (f), including profiling based on said provisions.

Furthermore, the dealer/client is entitled to obtain a copy (in a structured, standard and mechanically readable form) of their personal data and to have said personal data forwarded to another company.

How long we retain your data

Personal data collected or processed by our website: we keep dealer/client contact forms entries for 1 year and some dealer/client purchase records for 7 years (bookkeeping records).
