After dedicating eight years to THE PACK ‘Electric Motorcycle News,’ Guy Salens intends to expand his news platform internationally by creating local teams in different countries.

“Keeping up with the rapid shifts in the industry is becoming increasingly challenging for me personally. As a result, I’m actively engaging with media partners and journalists who are interested in launching THE PACK in their respective countries. Although our main website will continue to be updated and accessible in English, I aim to create THE PACK sites in local languages that will deliver news tailored to each specific country. This also opens up significant potential for local advertisers and brands that are specific to individual countries. These brands can leverage our promotional opportunities in a targeted manner, focusing on each region separately.” says Guy.
First partnership is a fact: THE PACK ITALIA

Guy: “THE PACK is thrilled to unveil the establishment of its new team in Italy. I warmly welcome Fabrizio Tiriolo, our Italian sales and marketing manager, and Marco Ghezzi, our editorial manager, to THE PACK community. Both bring their experience and dedication to elevate THE PACK to new heights in Italy. This is a new opportunity to serve as a dependable partner, connecting leading Italian Light Electric Vehicle (LEV) manufacturers with distributors, importers, and dealers across Italy, Europe and around the world. The new website, ‘THE PACK ITALIA,’ will be launched around May 2025, and we will keep you informed.
Italian team
Fabrizio Tiriolo – Sales & MKTG manager

Fabrizio, born in Milan before the first man landed on the moon, has always been curious and youthful in spirit. His interest in urban mobility sparked in 2005 when he discovered the Segway, a two-wheeled personal transport device stabilized by gyroscopes. He owned Urban Mobility, a concept store where he offered bicycles, E-bikes, electric scooters, E-motorbikes, and urban apparel for the modern commuter. During his time in sales and marketing at a B2B publishing house, Fabrizio built strong connections with top e-mobility brands. He was actively involved in organizing the E-moving Days event in Milan, focused on urban e-mobility. Recently, Fabrizio has ventured into the market for light electric quadricycles (L6 and L7), a sector that shows promising potential for the future.
Fabrizio expressed his enthusiasm: “I am really excited to start this editorial adventure for the launch of the Italian version of THE PACK, the new reference point for electric mobility.”
Marco Ghezzi – Editorial manager

Marco, a journalist, calls himself a “moto-reporter” because of his extensive motorcycle travels throughout much of Europe and several other regions, including the USA, Southern Africa, and the Middle East, where he explores and shares stories. Since 1987, he has worked with motorcycle and travel magazines, creating numerous travel articles. Marco also helped develop guides like “Italy by Motorcycle” and “Europe by Motorcycle,” published by the renowned Italian Touring Club. He has also shared his travel adventures on TV and radio.
Marco states, “In recent years, I’ve been excited about electrification, focusing on promoting and documenting electric mobility on two wheels through product reviews and trips, also featured in The Pack magazine. My new slogan is ‘Ride electric, Live electric’.”
Italian team common’s vision
“Our vision is that electric mobility is a new way of moving: efficient, clean, capable of new emotions. It’s the future, and we want to share this with the Italian audience.”
THE PACK’s future
“My goal is to establish THE PACK as a global brand and a leading news outlet in the 2-wheeler e-mobility industry. I believe that focusing on local news will better connect with regional audiences, thereby increasing sales. By reaching new readers who may not speak English, we can greatly expand our audience.” Guy mentions.

About THE PACK: power, unity, and innovation
Guy: “Over the last eight years, I’ve been a strong supporter of the thrilling electric two-wheeler industry. Through THE PACK, we have filled a gap, starting as a blog that quickly evolved into a true community and network, and eventually becoming a marketing platform for electric motorcycle manufacturers. THE PACK remains one of the few websites dedicated exclusively to electric motorcycles and other light electric vehicles (LEVs). In addition to its online presence, THE PACK actively takes part in events, such as hosting THE PACK Plaza at prestigious automotive gatherings like the upcoming EV Experience in the Netherlands in October 2025.”

At THE PACK, we’re not just a news source — we’re a movement. Our name captures the essence of electric motorcycling, where advanced technology meets the excitement of the ride. In the natural world, a pack represents unity, strength, and leadership. Wolves travel together, plan, and adjust, similar to the worldwide community of riders, innovators, and pioneers who are shaping the future of e-mobility. As ‘the leader of THE PACK’, we guide this (r)evolution, sharing the latest breakthroughs, industry insights, and electrifying stories from around the world.

Our name also holds another significant meaning. In the electric mobility industry, the ‘battery pack’ is the core of every e-motorcycle—driving progress, performance, and sustainability. Just as the battery fuels the vehicle, ‘THE PACK’ energizes the discussion, sparking awareness, enthusiasm, and advancements in the e-mobility sector.
