Source: press release | Austin, TX – Ristretto, a leading brand and manufacturer of electric vehicle (EV) products, proudly announces the launch of their latest product, the Ristretto 512 First Edition, unveiled in April 2023. This electric bike epitomizes what Ristretto represents—luxury, ambition, design, performance, and technology.
The Ristretto 512 First Edition is a multi-class electric bike meticulously made for speed and outstanding performance, available in two distinct wheel sizes, 20’’ and 24’’. Limited to just 400 units per model, the 512 comes in four exclusive colors: Bronzo, Green Shusterman, Arctic, and Black Pantera, with only 100 units available for each color.
Positioned strategically at the center of the bike, the Catalina battery pack ensures optimal balance and weight distribution for the rider. Equipped with 84 Samsung 50E cells, this 30Ah battery pack boasts a premium aluminum alloy case for efficient heat dissipation and water resistance. Notably, the battery pack is equipped with an Apple AirTag anti-theft slot for added security.
The Catalina provides a remarkable range of up to 100 miles in pedal assist mode and over 45 miles in throttle mode, positioning the 512 as one of the most robust and capable e-bikes in the market.
The Ristretto 512 First Edition also features a lightweight frame, maximizing the strength-to-weight ratio with the use of 6061 T6 aluminum. Propelled by the X1 Pro Gen 4 from CYC Motors, a high-efficiency BLDC motor offering 250N.m of torque, this bike combines high power with a compact form factor. The motor ensures superior torque sensing, providing an intuitive and natural riding experience without compromising on power. The bike is complemented by the new X12 controllers from CYC, with its own dedicated firmware, delivering a truly unique riding experience.
Christopher Gerardino, Founder and CEO of Ristretto®, expressed his pride in the team, stating, “I’m very proud of the team as we introduce a new perspective with the Ristretto 512 First Edition. This bike shows our passion and commitment to design, performance, and technology. We believe the 512 is one of the most capable bikes in the market, and we’re excited to share it with our customers.”
The Ristretto 512 First Edition is priced at $3,795 for the A20 and $4,195 for the A24. Production is already underway, and customer deliveries are set to commence in Q1 of 2024.
Ristretto has ambitious plans to expand its product line and is set to release a new mid-size E-moto this Christmas.
