Previous this year, THE PACK featured an article on the revival of RGNT Motorcycles from Sweden. After being gone for over a year and a half, founder Jonathan Åström has reclaimed ownership of RGNT Motorcycles, the electric motorbike company he founded in 2019.
Together with Gideon Schipaanboord, who oversees marketing and sales, and Alexander Lewandowski, the CTO and Head of Design, they established a brand new company called RGNT Reborn. This newly formed company obtained the rights to the intellectual property, tooling, and remaining inventory of bikes and parts. The three individuals are now spearheading the re-launch of the company in a more efficient structure, with only a small core team at the forefront including Jonas Brimse (responsible for after-sales service) and Timmy Erikson (in charge of production).

New navigation
Thanks to the RGNT App on your smartphone, you can plan your trip from anywhere you are, no matter what type of road you’ll be traveling on. The app takes into consideration important factors like battery life, regeneration mode, speed limits, and elevation to determine the maximum range you can achieve. This information is displayed in a 360-degree graphic called ‘Isolines’, giving riders confidence in their ability to reach their destination. For more details, check out THE PACK website.
