The first edition of the 24MX ALESTREM was born in 2015. The objective: to bring together the best enduro riders in the world as well as amateurs to give them a magical race in the Cévennes (France). The concept has always been to organize the “easy” and “difficult” extreme enduro race possible. So all pilots can have fun.
24MX Alestrem – 9th edition on January 27 & 28, 2024
With the 9th edition now concluded, over 500 drivers including big names such as Graham Jarvis, Mario Roman, Wade Young, Teodor Kabakchiev, Alfredo and Sandra Gomez were brought together once again for the event. Thousands of spectators also gathered at various locations including Pôle Mécanique Alès Cévennes (Saint Martin de Valgégales), Alès city center, and Mercoirol (Laval-Pradel). This year’s event was a huge success with a large turnout at all three locations.
Christophe Bruand described his experience as “incredible.” Despite not being physically prepared for the race, he was able to achieve a great result thanks to the Escape XR’s impressive size, power, and performance from Electric Motion. He also credits his top team for their perfect management, motivation, and dedication.
Electric Motion: “We are incredibly proud of both our rider and the performance he achieved this weekend. It was a first for him, as well as for our electric motorbike, and taking part in such a challenging race was no easy feat. However, we were confident in the abilities of our Escape XR Model for events like this. Competing in the top category (BLACK), Chris managed to earn the 12th best time on Saturday morning, despite falling during the race (against over 500 other registered riders). He also impressed us by qualifying for the super final of the prologue later that evening, ultimately finishing in 11th place – just behind some of the best competitors in the discipline. The following day, Chris delivered an impressive performance, crossing the finish line in 25th place. Both the motorbike and the rider were on par with the top competitors, providing great motivation for our future races.”
