Paris Fashion Week is currently in full swing, and DAB Motors has aligned itself with Becane Paris, a women’s fashion label, to present an impressive electric motorcycle.
Considered a hybrid fashion brand, Becane blends the codes of fashion and offers a collection of urban and technical clothing. The Becane woman can travel in style and safety on the roads and within the city. In homage to the Motomami movement pioneered by Spanish singer Rosalía.
“We are delighted to collaborate with Becane Paris on this stunning customized electric motorcycle,” said Simon Dabadie, CEO of DAB Motors. “The bike is a true masterpiece that combines artistry, sustainability, and technology, and we’re thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with Becane Paris to bring it to life.”
The collection was shown within a four-level underground parking lot in Paris, providing an excellent backdrop for the motorcycle and clothing line’s audacity.
Becane began its presentation with an immersive, 90s video game-like movie featuring Nikita, the protagonist, journeying through multiple planets on her DAB Motors electric motorcycle. The audience was captivated by the incredible visuals and fabulous journey.
Suddenly, in a galactic scene, the team presented a 1:1 scale motorcycle resembling the one appearing in the movie, leaving all enthralled.
“Our collaboration with DAB Motors has allowed us to go further in our shared and hybrid vision of today’s and tomorrow’s two-wheelers. Beyond the armor, it’s up to the motorcycle to become an extension of oneself. An object that is desired and personalized in the same way that one asserts oneself with clothing. Working on a project with innovative ambitions such as the Concept E-RS is a real opportunity for us to assert ourselves in an electrifying and sustainable way.” said Rosalie Carrel and Juliette Seydoux, founders of Becane.
Based off the DAB Motors Concept-E, the motorbike features a unique black metal flake paint job that gleams in the light, as well as custom leather seats made by a renowned Parisian haute-couture atelier where all of Becane’s collection is designed. The bike also has 3D printed parts such as offroad front fender and logos for an individualized look.
Fashionable finishes, reflective stripes, breathable fabrics that invite movement and inserts for approved protection – Becane seeks to create couture armour without sacrificing comfort or style.
With just a hint of playfulness, Becane clothing stands out as apparel for women who are confident to make their own path in life.
