Statement from THE PACK on the outcome of COP30, Belém, Brazil
In 2025, after decades of scientific warnings and real-world climate disasters (as we speak), we once again see a global agreement that fails to include the most essential commitment of all: a concrete plan to stop fossil fuels.
At THE PACK, we have been shouting this message since our founding in 2017: the fossil-fuel era must come to an end, and it must be replaced, urgently, by sustainable, electric, and/or accessible alternatives. Light electric vehicles are not ‘future prospects’; they are solutions that exist today. Yet the world’s leaders continue to stall.

It is painfully clear that the oil lobby is still doing its job extremely well, just as it has for decades. Historically, major oil interests have been documented concealing their own scientific research on climate impacts and spreading public disinformation designed to delay action. The patterns we see today are a continuation of tactics used since the 1970s: doubt, distraction, and obstruction. And that’s no secret: new analysis reveals more than 1,600 fossil fuel lobbyists have been granted access to the COP30 climate talks in Belém (you can find press releases all over the place about this issue).
Despite this, THE PACK will keep doing what we have always done: informing, educating, and energizing the market about light electric mobility. We will continue showcasing the innovators, the builders, and the early adopters who are pushing sustainable transport forward, regardless of political hesitation.
And let me be very clear: THE PACK is not subsidized, not funded by governments, not supported by institutions or lobbies. This platform is still a completely independent, personal initiative, built and financed by one person who believes in the future of clean mobility.
The world may not act fast enough. But we will not stop. We never have, and we never will.
