EMN has been contacted by Leon Tremel (Germany) who has been working at this moped for the last 1,5 years. Leon is 23 years old and CEO from Tremel Engineering. He is very proud to tell us about his latest prototype.
Leon: “We are a young team, with a timeless design vision, and we want to bring the mobility in the two-wheeler sector a step further towards the future! Through selected materials and components we want to create and produce a beautiful contemporary retro moped.
On 06/11/2019 we will presenting our finished prototype at the Konekt in Darmstadt (Germany) for the first time. The admission is free and we invite you to our booth. So, if you are in the neighbourhood, we will answer all your questions and discussions about the vehicle !!
In December 2020 Tremel Engineering will start their crowdfunding campaign to collect some funds for the serial production.
We have a range of 75 km with 1 battery pack and we the possibility to install 3 more extra battery packs to extending the range. Charging time at fast charging would be 1 hour and at overnight charging 3-4 hours.
We build the frame in Stainless steel what resulted in a high quality and noble bike. With the frame and all components we bring the bike to a weight of 48 kg and the acceleration would be really good with our 3 kw drive. The use of electric motors opens up much greater possibilities for us. As a result, braking and kinetic energy can be regained, thereby expanding the possible range.”
