Zero Motorcycles unveils the all-new LS1 scooter, Lompico Concept, and a refreshed Model Year 2026

Zero Motorcycles is kicking off EICMA 2025 with a triple debut that signals a new chapter for the American electric motorcycle pioneer. The brand unveiled the all-new LS1 urban scooter, the Lompico Concept, and a refreshed Model Year 2026 (MY26) lineup, each marking a bold step forward in Zero’s vision of connected, electric two-wheel mobility.

The Zero LS1: urban simplicity, electric style

Zero Motorcycles is widening its reach with the LS1, a city-ready electric scooter designed for riders who value practicality without compromising style or performance.

Built with Zero’s signature electric know-how, the LS1 aims to make urban commuting effortless. It features a center-mounted motor, swappable dual batteries, and standard ABS and traction control for confident city riding. Compact dimensions, a low seat height, and a short wheelbase make it an ideal fit for tight European streets.

The two lightweight batteries are easily removable and can be charged indoors using the standard 800W charger: 0–90% in 4.5 hours, or 0–100% in 5 hours. Opt for the 1.5kW fast charger, and that drops to 2.6 hours (0–90%) or 3.1 hours (0–100%).

Range is pegged at 115 km, but a third optional battery can boost that to a segment-leading 170 km, perfect for a day of errands or exploring the city outskirts. Under the seat, there’s space for two helmets or groceries, reinforcing the LS1’s everyday usability.

“The LS1 is designed for professionals and city riders in places like Paris, Milan, or Barcelona, people who want to move easily, avoid fuel and parking costs, and look sharp doing it,” said Pierre-Martin Bos, CEO of Zero Motorcycles. “It’s simple, stylish, and accessible, but it still feels unmistakably Zero.”

With its smooth power delivery, low center of gravity, and refined design, the LS1 marks Zero’s most approachable and practical entry into urban mobility yet.

The Lompico Concept – Zero’s vision of the future

If the LS1 represents today’s Zero, the Lompico Concept offers a glimpse of tomorrow. A thought-provoking design study, the Lompico debuts Cypher 4, Zero’s next-generation operating system that brings smarter connectivity, adaptive performance, and predictive diagnostics.

• Peak power: ~30kW / 40hp delivering instant torque and exhilarating acceleration
• Charge time: Configurable for less than 1 hour charge time to 80% supporting fast turnaround for urban and adventure riders

• Connectivity: Integrated display and mobile app support, allowing riders to monitor performance and customize ride modes from anywhere
• Safety & security: Advanced ABS and traction control, remote diagnostics, and anti-theft features built into the Cypher 4 ecosystem
• Chassis & handling: Lightweight frame design for agile handling, premium suspension for comfort and control, and advanced traction management for confidence in all conditions

MY26 Range – refinement through evolution

Zero is also refreshing its MY26 lineup, bringing meaningful upgrades across its core range. Based on rider feedback, the S and DS models now feature a 3.3 kW onboard charger for faster charging and an upgraded 15.6 kWh battery pack (up from 14.4 kWh).

The SR/F receives a subtle yet purposeful design refresh, with aero strakes and a redesigned belly pan inspired by Zero’s Quickstrike accessory line. These changes enhance airflow and underline Zero’s attention to both performance and aesthetics.
