After months of hard work and dedication, their team has created a new prototype that’s ready for action. Take a first look at this impressive bike as it showcases the team’s efforts in bringing it to life.
Created as an all-electric, off-road motorcycle, this light electric vehicle is designed to navigate through the toughest terrains. Its current model is being tailored for rigorous desert testing in Dubai and Abu Dhabi – known as some of the most challenging racing environments in the world. Weighing in at only 60kg and with a maximum power output of 15kW, it boasts an unbeatable power-to-weight ratio compared to other bikes in its class.
Key Improvements Include:
- The frame and swingarm, both made of cast aluminum alloy, boast wider and stronger specifications that can withstand the rigors of intense riding in harsh environments like desert sand dunes, gravel, and other challenging terrains.
- The Hacker Motor has been reinforced to provide improved performance and reliability, with a peak of 15kW and a permanent output of 11kW.
- New and improved specifications for the 2.1 kWh battery have been implemented, allowing for better endurance and power delivery.
- For the best in handling and comfort, Gr1t Motorcycles choosed Oehlins Suspension Systems for both your front and rear systems.
- The Pirelli Scorpion Heavy Motocross Tyres are specifically designed to provide the ultimate stability and grip on even the most challenging surfaces.
The development of these upgrades was greatly influenced by feedback from brand ambassador and test pilot, Jan Brabec. With an impressive background including 7 Dakar Rally competitions and 10 motocross championships in the Czech Republic, Jan tested a previous version of the Pioneer PRO in Brno back in March. His insights were crucial in perfecting the bike to meet the demanding standards of professional off-road riding.
Jan Brabec shared his excitement for the Pioneer PRO, saying, “This bike is incredibly stable and fun to ride. The improvements from the last version are unbelievable. I feel confident and capable on this bike; it allows me to do whatever I want. I fully trust it.”
Throughout the summer and fall, Gr1t Motorcycles will be conducting extensive testing of the Pioneer PRO 2nd Generation in Germany, France, and the United Arab Emirates
Gr1t Motorcycles collaborated with FAISSNER PETERMEIER Fahrzeugtechnik AG for their precise engineering on the Pioneer. The team’s expertise and meticulous attention to detail proved invaluable in bringing this prototype to life.
The team also announced that they will be present at the upcoming MaxlRide Moto Festival’s second edition. The festival, which will be held from August 23-25, 2024 in the scenic location of Maxlrain, Germany, has become a popular event for ADV, Enduro, Tourer, and Scrambler enthusiasts. It showcases a variety of motorcycles, from vintage to electric models.
