Moto Design Garage took in a 64 Honda C200 from one of their regular customers. The bike was in reasonable condition, but with a rusted tank and seized motor. They had previously discussed the possibility of an electric conversion with the client, and the white bike seemed to be the perfect choice.
They removed the frame, tank, swingarm and forks then media blasted them. Inside the frame they fitted a sweet 72v 15AH battery. This gave them enough power for short-distance errands and quick spins – it was capable of reaching 65mph which was more than enough speed.
The Votol em150 controller paired nicely with the QS138 V3 mid drive motor, and all new LED lighting completed the look. The finished product turned out to be an eye-catching head turner that handled well.
