Jambon-Beurre Motorcycle is a custom builder located in Paris and has been building unique motorcycles since 2015, based on eighties / nineties machines. Although the 2 co-founders are from a totally background (Antonin is still part-time a fashion photographer and Benjamin was a financial executive in the automobile industry but now full-time working at the garage), their vision is one of a kind to create very customized motorcycles.
At their garage, in 2016, Antonin and Benjamin started to discuss and talk about electric ideas and concepts. They have always been convinced that electric bikes are great motorcycles. And they were even more convinced after testing a BMW e-scooter.

So both men started to think about how to integrate all those great qualities into a bike as cool as what they used to build. Things changed when they met PYMCO Technologies, a french startup specialized in electric power management. Jambon-Beurre Motorcycle had already the ideas and now the technical support to make it real.
This project became true by meeting Jean-Louis, a character in a french comic book specialized in the promotion of products of young designers and creators. Jean-Louis shows up in Paris from the past and his mission is to find great products that are all available in real life. This electric dirtbike is the one they make for him to ride in the city (and in the comic book).
For this bike they wanted to implement a very powerful electric power train into a vintage bike frame to make a dirt track bike with more than 100 Hp and 100 km range, road legal, but able to run in dirt track races. The design had to be a mix between futuristic technology and vintage dirty motorcycles. The colors are inspired from 90’s sneakers.

“This e-project was the first step of the plan. We are now working on a funding campaign (and still looking for investors!) for the creation of a mass production prototype.
The motor is a big 80 kW / 180 Nm torque brushless muscle designed for military drones. The battery pack, co-developed with PYMCO Technologies is able to deliver about 800 A current under 110 V. It’s an assembly of 580 lithium-Ion cells with a special Battery management system and air forced cooling.

It took them 6 months of hard work to turn this idea into the final version. For the next french Dirt Track Championship, Julien Dupont will be the driver.
