Fast forward to 2016 I started to recognize that the technology was quickly advancing and costs were coming down. So I set off to build the ultimate electric motorbike now dubbed the ONYX RCR.

For anyone that is not familiar with the RCR it fits squarely between an ebike and a motorcycle from a power and layout perspective. The RCR design and power has become one of the most sought after electric motorbikes in the industry and I am so happy to announce I may have done it again with the RCR 80V.

The 80V is a culmination of nearly a decade of rider feedback. We redesigned the entire experience and performance from the ground up while still maintaining the iconic classic look of the RCR. This bike is an absolute beast with top speeds reaching north of 70mph in Hyper Mode. It is certainly no slouch of an electric motorbike.

Upgrades like touch screen navigation via Carplay or Android Auto make this a commuters dream. The advanced all aluminum chassis and a body panel finish inspired by top teir pro-consumer bead blasted anodized CMFs takes this machine to a class of its own. I’ve never been so excited to have a RCR between my legs carving canyons or just simply taking my one way 45 mile commute to work.
