Black Tea Motorbikes rolls out 2026 Wildfire & Bonfire: big upgrades for the Bavarian scramblers

Source: sponsored press release | Black Tea Motorbikes (BTM) isn’t slowing down. The Munich-based brand has officially pulled the wraps off its 2026 Wildfire and Bonfire models, and both machines bring meaningful upgrades that push the young company deeper into the premium electric scrambler space. The focus: more range, faster charging, sturdier hardware, and rider-friendly tech that finally puts these bikes toe-to-toe with mainstream offerings.

Wildfire 2026: more range, more muscle, more everything

The Wildfire receives the headline upgrades this year. Thanks to a new 6.6 kWh Samsung battery, the bike gains roughly 10% more range and can be juiced up 50% faster. Charging performance is one of the wildest leaps forward: by running dual onboard chargers, the Wildfire can now pull up to 9 kW peak from AC stations, an unusually high figure for a lightweight electric motorcycle. BTM says the platform is actually capable of 13 kW, which will be unlocked later through a software update once the third-gen battery lands.

Hardware gets an equally serious overhaul. A CNC-machined 7075-T6 aluminum swingarm brings higher rigidity and a larger 15 mm axle for better high-speed stability. Up front, a redesigned triple clamp now includes a standard handlebar riser and improves steering feel under hard braking. The new adjustable USD fork grows to 37 mm stanchions, and the front axle steps up to 15 mm as well.

For the first time, the Wildfire can also be ordered with ABS, complementing the existing CBS setup. ABS-equipped versions will begin shipping in June 2026.

Bonfire 2026: practical add-ons and more range

While the Bonfire doesn’t receive the Wildfire’s chassis overhaul, it does benefit from the upgraded Samsung battery, which delivers 25% more range and 10% more peak power.

BTM is also introducing two modular options:

  • Charge Tank – An onboard Type-2 charging solution delivering 2 kW today, expandable to 4 kW with a second onboard charger.
  • Storage Tank – A clever faux-tank compartment offering 10 liters of usable storage for daily riding.

Shared Updates: More Adventure Ready, More Connected

Both models now get an optional Enduro Mask package that adds a windscreen, front fender, hand guards, and mirrors, more wind protection and a more rugged look for riders who take these scramblers off the pavement.

Tech also gets a bump with Keyless Go. Riders can start their bikes with an NFC card or simply walk up with their smartphone, no app, no need to take the phone out of a pocket.

Perhaps the most mainstream-friendly upgrade: Apple CarPlay compatibility. Riders can drop a destination, choose charging stops, and let CarPlay handle the rest, with traffic avoidance and the option to skip highways for max fun on rural backroads.
