Most riders know Charley from the legendary Long Way series, in which he and Ewan McGregor crossed the world on two wheels: from London to New York, Scotland to Cape Town, and most recently aboard electric motorcycles from South America to Los Angeles. Those journeys have inspired generations of riders and demonstrated how adventure, technology and sustainability can come together on the road.

In Berlin, Boorman took the production NOVUS One out across a mix of urban streets and open roads, getting a first-hand feel for what the brand describes as its vision of electric two-wheel mobility: lightweight, powerful, and built around the joy of riding.

The visit also underlined a broader point that figures like Boorman have made over decades of travelling by motorcycle, that bikes represent something beyond transport. They stand for freedom, discovery, and the drive to find new paths. According to NOVUS, that same philosophy underpins the development of the One.
