Neematic is proud to announce a partnership with top international enduro racer Chris Birch. Chris will focus on supporting the Neematic brand’s initiatives and offroad products. He brings a broad range of experience from the biggest challenges in motorbike riding: the ISDE, the Dakar Rally and Hard Enduro.
Chris will help establish the emerging concept of high-performance electric bikes, provide feedback for the Neematic R&D team, and open a distribution network for New Zealand and Australia.
Neematic and Chris first met and tested the bikes at Intermot 2016, while proper trial riding was done in the Italian Alps this summer.

Neematic has recently launched their first model, FR/1 – an extreme performance all-terrain electric bike. It is equipped with a 15 kW peak power, mid-drive motor, a 2.2 kWh removable Li-ion battery and Fox suspension. The first limited series will be delivered in mid 2018 worldwide, and reservations are already open at Neematic.com.

He is eight times New Zealand Enduro overall champion, three times Roof of Africa winner, he has been on the podium seven times at Red Bull Romaniacs including winning it in 2010. Neematic was launched in 2015 in Lithuania with the backing of venture capital fund Practica Capital. The engineers behind the bike, Domas and Linas, leverage 12 years of experience in electric bicycle development and race suspension engineering.
