Source: press release Curtiss Motorcycles | With production beginning later on this year, Curtiss Motorcycles will be assembling just 15 hand crafted 2021 First Editions. The Curtiss One First Edition commemorates the 115 years it has been since the production of a new Curtiss motorcycle. Following the completion of the 15 First Editions Curtiss will begin regular production of the 2022 Curtiss One, limited to 100 production units per year.
Additionally, the team of Curtiss Motorcycles is excited to announce that in the coming days, a second crowdfunding round will be launched.
$535,000 (USD) of CMOT shares will be made available through StartEngine at $0.20 per share, with just a $250 minimum buy-in. Their goal is to sell out this block of shares quickly to fund the final stages of Curtiss One validation and certification ahead of its production start this Summer.
The campaign is set to launch in a matter of days and will be announced through various social media channels.
Upon campaign launch, Curtiss Motorcycles will be offering both time-based and amount-based incentives in the form of bonus shares:
Time-based Incentives:
- Invest in first 24 hours (any amount) and receive 20% bonus shares
- Invest in first 72 hours (any amount) and receive 10% bonus shares
Amount-based Incentives:
- Invest $1,000+ and receive 5% bonus shares
- Invest $2,500+ and receive 10% bonus shares
- Invest $10,000+ and receive 20% bonus shares
In addition, they would like to extend a personal incentive to you for expressing interest in Curtiss One: invest $25,000 between now and February 20 and they will waive the $9,000 reservation deposit on a 2022 Curtiss One pre-order and deduct that amount from the total price. And, because Curtiss is offering 20% bonus shares for any investment amount over $10,000, you would receive $25,000 in shares at approximately $0.166 per share and secure your 2022 Curtiss One for $69,000 (retail $78,000).
