THE PACK has been following the Dutch electric “moped” manufacturer since 2019. With their Model B, BREKR has, in our opinion, developed one of the most beautiful e-mopeds so far. Due to their approach to design and technology, the (ever-expanding) team has set the bar very high. And there had to be a sequel, of course. The result was presented today: Model F. Not a moped, not a motorcycle, but an urban-street e-bike with the well known BREKR ‘minimal’ touch.
The new micro mobility is no longer a hype: electric scooters and motorcycles, 30 km/h in the cities, one-wheelers, e-bikes, cargo bikes, Mobility-As-A-Service, last-mile … Cities and municipalities that ban more and more traditional ICE engines … Urban mobility is gradually becoming a new business and BREKR has understood that well.
Niels Willems (founder BREKR): “Obviously we thought of an electric motorbike as the successor to our Model B, and this motorcycle will arrive someday, but we can’t ignore the impact of e-bikes these days. So, you have to switch quickly (smiles). The development of the Model F had a shorter lead time than a motorcycle anyway. The choice was made quickly.”
“In time it is our intention to present a complete light electric vehicle BREKR line. Yes, we are ambitious and wish to become a major player in this LEV market. And of course with our recognizable BREKR touch!”
Niels: “With Model F we are aiming at a younger client target group that we hope will appreciate the unique character of this e-bike. But whether you are going to cruise along the beach or ride it to school, that’s for the user to decide. I am certain the bike has some possibilities for everyone.”

Guy Salens | THE PACK: “When I noticed the Model B (e-moped) from BREKR for the first time in 2019, I was very charmed by its minimal design and technical solutions. And finally, something different! Still, too much manufacturers are developing electric vehicles that resemble at their traditional ICE colleagues. The new model F is the result of this BREKR philosophy “less is more”. I hope to test it very soon in real life.”
