Energica is back: from Motor Valley to Silicon Valley
Energica has officially returned. THE PACK Global and THE PACK Italia have been in close contact with the Italian electric motorcycle manufacturer’s new owners and management over the past months, and the message is now confirmed: Energica is back. The relaunch starts with a series of events, the first in San Francisco and the second in Milan.
First stop: San Francisco
The opening event, titled ‘Motor Valley to Silicon Valley’, takes place at the Consulate General of Italy in San Francisco. Energica is inviting its Bay Area owners and riders to an evening with the team behind the brand, focused on the company’s plans for the future with Energica US.
The title links the brand’s two worlds. Energica was founded in Modena, in Italy’s Motor Valley, a region known for its motorsport heritage. The company built its reputation in racing as the sole supplier of machines for the first four seasons of the FIM MotoE World Cup, and its bikes have also raced in MotoAmerica. Silicon Valley, meanwhile, has long been one of the strongest markets for electric motorcycles.
Riders are encouraged to arrive on their own Energica, whether that is an Ego, Eva Ribelle, EsseEsse9 or Experia, so the bikes can be lined up outside the Consulate. Guests arriving by other means are also welcome but are asked to indicate this when registering.
