Energica renews collaboration with Siemens for battery development

Energica’s Partner area remains on a steady upward trajectory, as Siemens Digital Industries Software has extended its partnership with the Italian company for another three years. The renowned software company will continue to offer their technical expertise and share their vast knowledge, along with solutions from the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio, to support Energica’s development in battery technology and thermodynamic control innovation.

Puneet Sinha, senior director, Battery Industry, Siemens Digital Industries Software: “Siemens is proud to continue its collaboration with Energica and support its innovation with our transformative digital twin-based software solutions and expertise. It’s another great example of how leaders and pioneers are adopting Siemens Xcelerator to explore the electrification of the mobility industry and build a sustainable battery industry.”

Siemens is committed to providing ongoing support for Energica, utilizing the latest 3D system simulation and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) techniques from Siemens’ Xcelerator software and services. Energica plans to take advantage of Siemens’ NX™ software for product design, as well as Simcenter™ Amesim™, Simcenter™ STAR-CCM+™, and Simcenter™ FLOEFD™ software for battery performance simulations.
