Source: Filante Motors website | In 2021 and 2022, THE PACK already published about the DC100, a high performance electric motorbike designed by Davinci, a R&D team that came from 11 faculties of Tsinghua University. At EICMA in November 2022, their DC100 was presented to the public.
Today, we noticed that FILANTE Motors announced the launch of FM FACTORY, an industrial project based in Milan that focuses on creating revolutionary solutions within the electric industry. This includes research and development in powertrain technology, advanced software for power management, self-balancing capabilities, and a touch of Italian craftsmanship and design.
The first product to come out of FM FACTORY is TORQUE 1/1, an electric motorcycle with a central in-wheel motor placed inside the rear wheel, providing an impressive 850 Nm peak torque. This project is the result of FILANTE’s partnership with DAVINCI, the same engineering company and spin-off from Beijing University that has developed the DC100. And when looking at all images, the design is pretty much the same.
Each TORQUE motorcycle will be handcrafted in Milan using high-quality materials, making each one a unique piece of art.
According to Francesco Maria Farina, Founder of FM Factory Srl, “TORQUE is designed for customers who appreciate collecting unique pieces that satisfy both aesthetic and technical desires. Every aspect is carefully considered and crafted using innovative technology and luxurious materials.”
Boasting a range of 400 kilometers and the ability to FAST-CHARGE in just 20 minutes, TORQUE offers exceptional performance. Its high-power motor allows the electric motorcycle to reach incredible speeds within seconds, creating an unparalleled driving experience. With a maximum torque of 850 Nm and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, it’s clear that TORQUE is a force to be reckoned with.
As a special guest, TORQUE 1/1 will be featured at the DAVINCI exhibit at EICMA 2024 and can be ordered beginning in December. Interested customers will have the opportunity to configure and test drive this luxury vehicle on the track behind closed doors at the Milan-based industrial workshop, which also serves as a hub for custom-made designs catering to the most discerning clientele. The list price for this exclusive motorbike starts at 101,000 euros.
