Source: website Rieju | This innovative hybrid of a motorcycle and bicycle provides all the benefits of both without any sacrifices. It combines the compact size, lightweight design, versatility, and agility of an e-Bike with the power, performance, and capabilities of a (light) traditional motorcycle.
The new E-Tango comes with a 4 kW electric motor (L1E version), approved for use as a moped. It also features an energy regeneration function and offers three distinct riding modes to cater to the preferences of individual riders:
- Turtle Mode: optimizes battery life and limits speed and power output
- Rabbit Mode: ideal for off-road riding. Balanced battery life and performance
- Rocket Mode: maximum performance to overcome any obstacle on the road
This compact and fun E-Tango has a top speed of 45 km/h in its homologated and registrable version, making it perfect for rides up to 80 km and 65 km in the non-approved version. This LEV allows to charge a full battery in under 4 hours. With its 43 AH detachable battery, Rieju mentions that this model is highly efficient and offers extended hours of enjoyment.
The “cycle” aspect of this vehicle is enhanced by its high-strength steel perimeter frame, as well as a fully adjustable inverted fork with 200 mm of travel and a Mono-shock shock absorber that can be customized using connecting rods. The front and rear brakes are equipped with 4-piston hydraulic systems and 210 mm diameter discs, while the wheels are sized at 19″ and 18″. These features are especially beneficial when navigating through rough and challenging terrains, making it easy to overcome any obstacles with speed and agility.
The company provides the option to purchase a version of their product that is not approved for use on regular roads, but can be used on closed tracks. This is ideal for adventurous individuals seeking the most exhilarating experience with the 5 KW engine, which can unleash up to 10.5 kW of pure enjoyment.

The E-Tango Supermotard is designed for versatility in city riding and maximum enjoyment on the road. With specialized suspension settings and street tires on 17″ rims, this model is perfect for urban asphalt enthusiasts.

Its monoshock shock absorber attaches to connecting rods, while hydraulic brakes with 4-piston caliper and 210 mm diameter disc provide reliable stopping power. The bike’s 17″ wheels contribute to the comfortable seat height of only 830 mm.
Both the Supermotard and OffRoad versions come equipped with a new safety feature: the Electronic Security Key. Acting as both an Anti-Theft Device and Automatic Engine Shutdown in case of an accident, this Magnetic Key ensures the safety of riders regardless of which model they choose.
