EMN | THE PACK had the opportunity to see some new plans of the EVS-model from Voltz Motors in Brazil. Our source indicates that this new electric motorcycle will be announced in the next few months simultaneously to the store opening in August 2020 in São Paulo, Brazil’s largest capital. “It will be a smart electric motorcycle due to the large amount of tech built into the bike and the possibility for different combinations of battery packs”, he told us …
From the drawings it seems to be a naked bike or a street bike. We have received these first pictures from a side-view and the (possible) dashboard. At the website of Voltz Motors there is no indication yet regarding a launch of a new model. At the moment there is only the electric scooter EV01 which we mentioned earlier in November 2019 at EMN (see below).
Of course we have contacted Voltz Motors about this rumour and we have confronted them with this information. “Street bikes are very popular in Brazil” was their cryptic answer … So, the “S” in EVS could stand for Street? We’ll keep you posted if we find out what’s going on.
