The Moto E Championship
MotoE is an official European championship for electric motorcycle racing teams from across the globe. The competing teams will race with each other during five different events within Europe to achieve the prestigious title of MotoE Champion. The races are all about power, control and strategy with each round providing an unique challenge. Whether it is a challenging sprint race or a demanding endurance race, competitors must push the technical boundaries to their limits to finish first. Nova Electric Racing is the first team representing the Netherlands in this competition.
The Novabike 07
The NovaBike07 was the first fully electric racing bike in the Netherlands. It was a completely new design to accomodate for the all electric powertrain. The bike had a few hiccups with its performance during the races, however it managed to participate in one of the final races of the MotoE Championship 2016 at Pembrey. The riders of the NovaBike07 were Casper Voogt and Tristan Lentink.
The NovaBike08 is the eighth iteration in The NovaBike series. The NovaBike08 will be a fully electric motorcycle. The bike will be an improvement of the NovaBike07, having changes being made to its existing structural and powertrain systems.
