Back in June 2023, THE PACK wrote an article about NUEN MOTO, a company based in Vietnam that was developing a prototype electric motorcycle called the NU-E. After months of hard work, the company has finally unveiled their first high-performance electric motorcycle built entirely in Vietnam. Using the versatile Urban Scrambler as their inspiration, the N1-S boasts a compact design, good performance, and unique aesthetic – all intended to provide an unparalleled riding experience for its users.

The 𝐍𝟏-𝐒 is equipped with a powerful electric motor that can reach up to 24KW in capacity and provide a maximum torque of 190 Nm. With the implementation of Regenerating Brake technology, the brakes operate through an electric system and motor to transform kinetic energy into stored energy, resulting in increased energy savings. This also decreases strain on traditional mechanical brake parts caused by friction, leading to lower levels of heat and longer-lasting durability for the brakes.

The 𝐍𝟏-𝐒 model version is carefully crafted to optimize user experience through the refinement of design details and technical specifications:

• The swingarm frame system is made of lightweight aluminum with a unique design that ensures durability while driving at high speeds and stability while cornering.
• Top speed is limited to 130 km/h, providing an exhilarating driving experience within the allowed safety parameters.
• 3 driving modes (Rain, Street, & Sport) can be fine-tuned based on individual preferences and needs.
• Comes with a standard 8.0 kWh battery and built-in charger for convenience; no need to carry a bulky charger.
• Can travel up to 60 km with just one hour of standard charging at any 220V outlet, or up to 200 km with one hour of DC fast charging at NUEN charging stations.
• High-quality braking and shock absorber systems ensure a smooth and safe ride, suitable for the vehicle’s power.
• The high-end version is equipped with OHLINS shock absorbers and BREMBO braking system.
• With a mid-range size and weight, the vehicle has a low center of gravity for easy control.
• Comfortable seat height of 800 mm caters to the average rider height.
• The steering angle is carefully calculated for flexibility in urban areas and effortless control on rough terrain, with a ground clearance of up to 175 mm.
