Power in Flux – The History of Electric Motorcycles

April 5, 2017 April 5, 2017Guy SalensNewsPower in Flux, Ted Dillard

In march 2017 I launched Electric Motorcycles News. It’s a small & exciting world out there so pretty soon I got a mail from Ted Dillard about his new book (I think he has found us through Bruno Forcella from Sine Cycles who is also mentioned in “Power in Flux”)

I am passionate about motorcycles but I am a newbee in the world of electric motorcycles. I am learning every day and Ted’s book ‘Power in Flux’ is a bible to me: all these facts, all that information, all these people with their passion … It’s a book about companies, brands & people, their efforts & failures, their attempts to bring their products to the people. It’s a catalogue full of facts, detailed timelines and race results.

I have a PDF-version on all my devices and in the cloud as a back up … Every moment when possible, I am diving into this extraordinary timeline of electric motorcycles. Every time I wonder why so many people aren’t convinced yet about these technology … True, I call myself a late bloomer, Dieselgate has opened my eyes.

I saw an interesting quote of a French manufacturer: “The electric motorcycle is the future. And the future is now.” With Ted’s book you have it all now.

It’s time.
