Singapore’s first electric motorcycle manufacturer, Scorpio Electric, introduced the global launch of their much anticipated maxi-scooter, the X1, along with presenting two new prototype models as part of their Infinity concepts.

X1 – Future Unseen
The X1 is an allusion to the most potent star in the Scorpio constellation. This urban electric mobility vehicle has a remarkable design that combines convenience and modernity. Equipped with advanced rider technology as well as internet connection, the development of the X1 began back in 2019 and physical production testing followed this year. Finally, its launch marks the completion of these extensive efforts.
Performance
The X1 is capable of going from zero to 50 km/h in a mere 3.8 seconds and can reach maximum speeds of 105 km/h. Its powertrain consists of a 10kW engine linked to an air-cooled 72V 5kWh Proprietary battery pack. A range of 200 km is possible at 40 km/h.
Design Language
The X1’s dimensions stand at 2,125mm in length, 775mm in width, and 1,212mm in height, offering a balanced size and appeal. Its wheelbase of 1,525mm adds an element of stability while ensuring nimble maneuverability through city streets. Weighing in at a mere 185kg, the X1 is a uniquely designed electric maxi-scooter for eco-conscious individuals who want to stand out.
Engineering at its Heart
The X1 is constructed on a base of engineering excellence and engineered for perfection. Its single-sided aluminium swingarm pairs up with an upside-down front fork and dual-rated shock absorber to provide superior handling. The X1 Cast AI ENKEI rims, Pirelli tires, and J JUAN brakes featuring the BOSCH 2-Channel ABS system attest to its stability and braking power.
Connectivity & Control
The X1 vehicle is equipped with its advanced headlight technology and cornering lights that adapt to your movements. A futuristic 7-inch TFT display transforms your ride into an immersive experience. The charger is boasting a 90% capacity after 3 hours of charging. Exceptional control is within reach as you are granted fingertip access to features like controlled steering lock, reverse assist, vehicle lock/unlock, remote stop charging, seat cover and charger cover remote release, and vehicle analytics that allow you to customize your energy regeneration experience.
