Milan. The 75th International Bicycle and Motorcycle Show is getting on track to welcome manufacturers, professionals and the public, to show the world the excellence of the sector of two wheels. There is great excitement for EICMA 2017 with the exhibitors who will be presenting, from 7 th to 12th November (7th and 8th dedicated to professionals and the press), over 150 world premieres of bicycles, motorcycles and accessories.
All the innovations and the products presented by the exhibitors will occupy pavilions 9-11, 13-15, 18 and 22-24. The huge number of requests for participation in EICMA by companies and brands has meant adding a further pavilion (Pavilion 18).
Compared to 2015, the number of exhibitors at EICMA 2017 has grown by 14%, reaching 1,626, including direct and indirect. The square metres of the net exhibition area sold records an increase of 14% with a gross occupied area of 280,000 square metres.
60% of the exhibitors who are taking part in the 75th edition of the Show come from about 40 different countries in the world. These numbers have convinced the public to buy their tickets in time, with presales having recorded +57% compared to the same period of 2016.
After the excellent results of last year, confirmed by the market data, the area dedicated to E-Bikes and Start-Ups and Innovations return, as do the ever-favourite outdoor area MotoLive and the Temporary Bikers Shop. EICMA’s commitment to creating moments of education and information takes shape with the Safety Area, in collaboration with Confindustria ANCMA. Present in pavilion 13 M88, the EICMA photo live stand offers studio-quality photos to exhibitors, VIPs and visitors, with the artist Monica Silva behind the camera.

The most thrilling innovation arrives with Energica and the first “old-school” electric motorcycle. Its name is Eva EsseEsse9, inspired by the real name of Via Emilia, historic road crossing the Italian Motor Valley.

Evoke Motorcycles is excited to announce that it will be revealing its newest electric motorcycle, the 2018 Evoke Urban Classic, alongside its flagship model 2017 Urban S at the EICMA Motorcycle Show in Milan, Italy. On Wednesday 8th of November at 11am, Carlos Sotelo, the CEO of Silence, will made the official presentation of the new scooter S01, at the Silence stand at EICMA, which aims to be the best choice in terms of quality and performance of electric scooters on the market. It can be followed through the RRSS of Silence.
The Spanish company of 100% electric scooters will show its models in a customized stand that represents a smart city; the new models S02i and S03i for individuals; the successful S02 scooter for motosharing, and the three wheeled S03 in its police version. All of them developed by a qualified Spanish R&D team.

The future of pedalling is electric. The market data, which show a double- and triple-digit growth both in Italy and in Europe, prove it. It is a new way of riding bicycles. The E-Bike area is wholly dedicated to sustainable mobility on bicycles fitted with a battery. The main innovations, the next models and a lot of technology will be present.
They have to be tried to understand the difference from those driven by the muscles. A track of 1,000 metres has been created which, with a constant gradient of 8%, simulates a mountain road to experience in person the advantages of assisted pedalling. In short, there are all the ingredients to present a new way of riding bicycles, capable of bringing eve those who do not get into the saddle for reasons linked to excessive distances or effort closer to urban mobility. The E-Bike area is the international showcase for foreign exhibitors and for the excellences of E-bikes made in Italy.
The space is the result of the collaboration with BikeUP, the creator of the first European festival wholly focused on E-bikes, in order to correctly illustrate to the public everything that’s new in the sector of electric bikes.
