The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride brings together classic and vintage styled motorcycle riders worldwide to support prostate cancer research and promote awareness of men’s mental health.

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride was initiated in Sydney, Australia, by Mark Hawwa. He drew inspiration from a picture of Don Draper from the TV show Mad Men, where Draper is seated on a vintage motorcycle in his best suit. Mark thought a themed ride would be an excellent opportunity to unite niche motorcycle enthusiasts and communities, all while raising money to assist the men we care about.

“10 years ago we knew we needed to do more for men’s health,” says Mark Hawwa, Founder of The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride. “That’s why we partnered with the world’s largest men’s health charity, Movember. In the last 10 years, we have been proud to support men’s health on a global scale, in supporting the critical causes of prostate cancer and men’s mental health. Together with our community, we are proud to continue riding dapper for men’s health.”

The Streetdog group from FTN Motion (New Zealand) made a strong appearance at this year’s Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride. The event is always a fantastic day with classic and vintage bikes on show, attendees dressed in their finest, and excellent company all around. This year, for the first time, Streetdogs took part in seven rides across Australia and New Zealand: Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Christchurch, and soon, Wellington will join in this coming weekend!
