Triumph Motorcycles powers up the next generation with TXP electric off-road range
Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled the TXP range, its first-ever electric off-road motorcycles for kids and young riders, developed in collaboration with OSET.

The new lineup includes four models – TXP-12, TXP-16, TXP-20, and TXP-24 – designed to support riders from age three up to teenagers (and even adults up to 90kg). Each bike features scalable power, lightweight steel frames, age-specific ergonomics, and adjustable suspension, ensuring progression from first balance to competitive off-road riding.
Power outputs range from 600W on the TXP-12 to 1600W on the TXP-24, with adjustable throttle response, parental speed controls, and magnetic safety lanyards for confidence and security. All models use high-capacity lithium batteries (IP67 rated), delivering smooth, predictable torque thanks to Triumph’s tuning and OSET’s proven electric trials tech.
A standout feature is the 2-in-1 modular setup, allowing quick conversion between seated off-road “XPlore mode” and standing trials-style riding.
- TXP-12: Ages 3–5, lightweight starter bike.
- TXP-16: Ages 5–7, more torque and hydraulic brakes.
- TXP-20: Ages 7–10, 1200W motor, competition-ready.
- TXP-24: Ages 10+, 1600W motor, full-size performance.
Nick Bloor, Chief Executive Officer, Triumph Motorcycles said: “The TXP range represents an exciting new chapter for Triumph. Since bringing OSET into the Triumph family, we’ve blended our expertise to develop a range that’s not only technically advanced but also rooted in real-world riding experience. By combining our off-road race-winning engineering experience with OSET’s proven electric trials expertise, we have created a product line that can empower the next generation of riders.“
“As a family business, I’m excited to see families riding Triumphs together, sharing the joy of motorcycling across generations. Riding an electric bike helps young riders develop motor skills, balance, and coordination, but it also builds confidence and a lifelong love for motorcycling.”
Ian Smith, OSET Founder added: “Being part of Triumph has given OSET the platform to scale our technology and reach new riders. The TXP range carries forward everything we’ve built, from trials championships to community riding. With the support of Triumph dealers across the world we can reach more families, support more communities, and continue to evolve the technology that’s helped thousands of young riders discover the thrill of two wheels. It’s about taking fun seriously, and building the future of the sport.”
The TXP range is available to order now through selected Triumph dealers, with pre-Christmas delivery. Prices start at £1,595 for the TXP-12 up to £3,695 for the TXP-24.
