Energica Inside promises to be a disruptive venture, destined to pave the way in a number of industrial sectors. With its extensive know-how gained in over 10 years in the full-electric world, Energica now has the experience and skill sets needed to extend its operations to encompass other sectors. This is why the company has decided to create a special new business unit dedicated solely to projects for the development of new technologies for powertrain components and modular powertrain systems for road, sea and aerial transport applications, and also for specific industrial uses. Partnerships between Energica Inside and other Italian industrial concerns operating in this sector have already given rise to innovative initiatives such as the E-Power and CEMP projects for light urban mobility solutions.

E-POWER for Fantic: an Energica product for the Italian E-Scooter

The E-POWER is a project realised from Energica Inside, Dellorto. and Reinova Company. It represents an incredible revolution for the electric urban mobility sector.

These three Italian companies teamed up to realise the E-Power system, an innovative electric propulsion system for sustainable urban mobility. The strong interest about the electric revolution keeps going and the partnership between Energica, Dellorto and Reinova was born to satisfy this new electric feeling of the automotive sector. The three companies share common values like: made in Italy, a disruptive mindset aimed at innovation and sustainability.

The collaboration with FANTIC born to realise the concept of the first Fantic electric scooter, a 100% Italian vehicle, designed and built in Veneto and Emilia, equipped with E-Power motor, inverter, VCU and DC / DC. The power unit is fit on a Fantic chassis with a die-cast aluminum trellis frame with great lightness and drive-ability.

The 3 kW electric motorization can be mapped with three configurations. In addition to the L1 category vehicle, the L3 version project (equivalent to 50cc and 125cc endothermic) is also envisaged. It will be equipped with a 2250Wh lithium battery and can be implemented with a second battery thus obtaining a capacity of 4500 Wh, guaranteeing an autonomy of over 100 km.

The E-Power system consists of a VCU, INVERTER, DC / DC, E-MOTOR and a battery pack. The rated operating voltage of 48V avoids all risks associated with the use of high voltage systems, in favour of safety.

E-Power by Energica, Dellorto and Reinova can be charged from the classic 220V home sockets without the need of dedicated charging infrastructures. The project also plans to bring the quality and innovation of the E-Power product to other areas, such ad industrial machines, logistics, garden, karts, scooters.
