World of eMobility (WOE) and THE PACK “Electric Motorcycle News” are partnering to bring electric motorbike and moped startups to the Netherlands. This international crossover event, taking place at the EXPO Greater Amsterdam on October 26th and 27th, will feature a new THE PACK Startup Village in the “LAND OF THE BRAVE” dedicated to young electric mobility companies.
Organizer Rick Van Rijthoven is optimistic for the two-day spectacle: “We are confident that this year’s event will be as successful as last year”. He continues, “Exhibitors can show off their unique products, visitors can participate in lectures (WOE TALKS) and workshops, and everyone gets to ride eco-friendly vehicles at our indoor and outdoor test track (WOE DARES). Plus, with the help of THE PACK, we have created a special package deal for startups joining us this year.”
Guy Salens – THE PACK: “The Startup Village will showcase multiple electric motorbike, moped, and ebike startups. The organization of WOE has developed a “total exhibitor package” to make it simpler for electric motorbike and moped brands to take part. Companies just have to bring their light electric vehicles and promotional materials, while WOE handles the rest.”
“THE PACK Startup Village” deal includes:
- One 4×4 meter stand
- One stand wall at the back with a personalized full-size printed poster (in a metal frame)
- A complete truss construction inclusive spots and lighting
- Floor covering
- A furniture package (1 table and 2 chairs)
- 3 KW power point
- 2 parking tickets
- Free invitation cards
- 1 article at THE PACK
- 1 news item at THE PACK’s social media accounts (58000 followers)
- 1 article at newsletter LinkedIn (3750 subscribers)

Guy: “Since 2017, I have been the leader of THE PACK (smiles), an information platform to get acquainted with electric motorbikes, mopeds and other low-emission vehicles. This online community has connected manufacturers, startups and consumers together to stay informed. Considering the e-mobility market is relatively new and technology changing quickly, THE PACK offers an opportunity to become familiar with the various startups and products. Therefore, this collaboration with World of eMobility at the Amsterdam conference offers a great platform for presentations from these startups and their solutions.”
THE PACK Startup Village is a great opportunity for young teams that want to explore the Benelux or even the European market.
Guy Salens – THE PACK
Rick: “We understand that most newly-formed businesses don’t have the luxury of a massive marketing budget. That’s where we come in: we can create an open space and platform for these companies over 2 days – at a reasonable price – so they can showcase their products and have real conversations with our visitors”.
Gert-Jan Rongen, Ambassador of Electric Motorbikes & Mopeds, has been selling electric two-wheelers since 2013 for both leisure and professional use: “Every year the demand increases for these light transportation vehicles – from commuters to last mile solutions and those just wanting to have fun. To get an understanding of this new technology it is important to experience the thrill of an electric motorbike by test driving one. It is great that WOE & THE PACK offers this opportunity with these LEV startups on a test track during the event.”
Test drives
At the World of eMobility event, guests will have the opportunity to experience electric motorbikes and mopeds with Irina Opariuc serving as the “LAND OF THE BRAVE” ambassador. According to Irina, we can always alter our perspectives on life. In her four years leading test drives for Zero Motorcycles, she has never seen a rider not leave with an ear-to-ear grin. Being involved at the WOE event is a great way for her to demonstrate her excitement for both electric motorcycles and mobility as a whole. She wants all attendees to realize that they possess the power to be innovators of today in order to build our future world.
WOE Magazine
WOE Magazine and Roularta Media Nederland have joined forces to create a magazine that is all about electric mobility. Starting in mid-September 2023, this publication containing articles, stories, and other related content will be distributed as an add-on to their existing titles, granting over 500,000 Dutch people access to the magazine. This means that more than 100,000 subscribers of these publications will get this special publication.
