11,000 km in 2 months: Marc Travels rides the Verge TS across Europe

Marc Travels is no stranger to pushing boundaries. After completing a world tour on ‘Eve,’ a SR/F from Zero Motorcycles, the adventurer set himself a new challenge: a two-month, 11,000-kilometer road trip across Europe aboard the futuristic Verge TS. Known for its radical hubless rear wheel, DC fast charging, and brutal torque, the Verge TS might look like a machine from the future, but Marc was determined to see if it could live up to the rigors of long-distance travel today.

Marc: “After 2 months, 11 countries, 11,000 km, ferries, rain, backroads, and even a motor swap, I finally brought the Verge TS Pro home to Estonia. This is the last ride on Vee, my electric superbike, as I return it to the Verge Motorcycles factory in Tallinn. It wasn’t just a test ride, I lived with this bike for weeks across the UK, Ireland, Sweden, the Baltics, and more. Now it’s time for me to hand it back, visit the factory, and prepare for my next big adventure. If you’ve ever wondered whether an electric motorcycle can replace your petrol bike for long trips, this video has the answers.”

A journey measured in kilometers and stories

Over the course of 11,000 km, Marc rode through bustling cities, winding alpine passes, and endless stretches of roads and highways. Each day presented a new landscape, and a new test for the Verge TS. From its explosive acceleration to its comfort during long hauls, the motorcycle impressed him with both performance and resilience.

But this wasn’t just about covering distance. For Marc, travel is about connection. Along the way, he met curious onlookers drawn to the bike’s futuristic silhouette, charging station conversations that turned into friendships, and local communities eager to hear about his mission.

The realities of riding electric

Long-distance EV travel always comes with challenges. Planning charging stops became part of Marc’s daily rhythm, especially when venturing off the beaten path. Yet, the Verge TS proved reliable, and Europe’s growing charging infrastructure made even ambitious stretches achievable.

Marc notes that these challenges are also opportunities:

“It’s not just about getting from A to B. Riding electric makes you slow down, engage with people, and rethink what travel really means.”

Why the Verge TS?

The Verge TS stands out in the electric motorcycle world. Its hubless rear wheel isn’t just an eye-catching design choice, it houses a powerful motor that delivers up to 1000 Nm of torque directly to the road. Combined with its futuristic styling and impressive real-world range, the TS offered Marc both performance and the chance to inspire riders who might still be hesitant about EV adoption.

By taking it on such a demanding road trip, Marc wanted to demonstrate that the Verge TS is more than a design statement. It’s a machine capable of tackling the same adventures motorcyclists have always sought, just without the noise or emissions.

Looking ahead

Marc’s road trip is more than another entry in his personal travel diary. It’s a signpost for where motorcycling is heading. With 11,000 km behind him, the Verge TS has proven itself as a capable and inspiring travel companion.
