World of eMobility (WOE), the international crossover event that is entirely dedicated to electric mobility, will be held in the EXPO Greater Amsterdam in the Netherlands on October 26th and 27th. Rick Van Rijthoven is the initiator and organizer of WOE. “Last year’s success gives us the assurance that we can make this another great event. The plan stays largely the same: exhibitors will display their innovative products, lectures and workshops will be conducted, and visitors can test all kinds of eco-friendly vehicles on the extensive indoor race track.”, says Rick.

Brand ambassadors electric motorbikes and mopeds

Guy Salens of THE PACK “Electric Motorcycle News” and Gert-Jan Rongen of Electric Motorbikes Nederland have been chosen to represent the World of eMobility in their roles as brand ambassadors for electric motorbikes and mopeds.

Guy: “Since 2017, I have been running THE PACK, which provides independent information about electric motorcycles, mopeds and other LEVs. It has grown into an online community where manufacturers, startups, and consumers come together to learn from one another. The e-mobility market is still relatively new and technology is changing rapidly. Through THE PACK you can get an overview of all the new startups and brands that are out there. Now, as a brand ambassador for World of eMobility, I have been given a great opportunity to present these companies and their solutions live at the Amsterdam conference. Gert-Jan: “Ever since 2013 I have been selling electric motorbikes, both for business and personal use. Keynote presentations

At World of eMobility, visitors can expect to hear inspiring talks from industry leaders, like executives from major OEM’s, policymakers, influencers and researchers. Attendees get the chance to find out what’s new in electric vehicles, charging systems and alternative transportation. The conference offers presentations, discussions and hands-on exhibits that revolve around the idea of eMobility and its influence on the transport of the future.

As well as the headline addresses, this event will include various panel talks, practical sessions, and chances to socialize with other eMobility aficionados and specialists.

Participating is also networking

The WOE team warmly invites everyone to join the event. Large and small companies alike are all encouraged to take part in the platform. “Networking, knowledge sharing and matchmaking” Van Rijthoven adds, “are just as important. Our extensive program of lectures and workshops provide a great place for all these activities to take place. Through working together we can make sure that our future is secure.”

World of eMobility, shaping the future

Last year, more than 4200 people from the Netherlands and abroad attended World of eMobility: a global crossover event completely dedicated to electric transportation. This year’s event will be two days long as opposed to three. This decision was made in consultation with our participants so WOE can maintain its business-like demeanor and stay more focused. According to Van Rijthoven “By reducing it to two days we can create a more business-focused and compact program for our visitors.”

World of eMobility magazine

World of eMobility will be launching its own magazine in collaboration with Roularta Media Nederland. Initially, the magazine will be distributed as an attachment to their existing media titles, providing over 100,000 subscribers with the special attachment that informs over 500,000 Dutch people about everything related to electric mobility. The new magazine is set to debut in mid-September 2023.
