THE PACK recently announced that Gert-Jan Rongen (Electric Motorbikes Nederland) and Guy Salens (THE PACK/Motorguy) had joined the line-up of esteemed brand ambassadors for World of eMobility’s “LAND OF THE BRAVE” event. Joining them is Irina Opariuc from ElixIR Consult.
Irina originally came from Romania, but she moved to the Netherlands in 2014 to pursue her studies. During her last year of university she was offered a Marketing role at Zero Motorcycles EMEA where she spent 4+ years, with the ambition to become head of PR, Communications & Events. In 2022 however she started her own company (see further in this article). Her efforts led to the successful launch of the Zero SR/F, SR/S and FXE in Europe, garnering widespread attention and requests for test rides. Ever since she can remember, she has been fascinated with extreme sports, so naturally she began motorcycling when she turned 18, skydiving a year prior, and snowboarding at 22.
Irina: “When I joined Zero, I didn’t know how important the electric mobility world would become to me. The ease of riding an e-motorcycle, the instant torque, the always being in the right gear, the stealth and being able to hear birds and your other rider friend – it’s a thrill. And it stays with you no matter what. I encountered too many common perceptions along the way as “It’s too expensive” or “It doesn’t go as far as a regular bike“… and it became my drive to change this view. Most people buy electric motorcycles for short distance/commuting, but there’s been proof you can do so much more if you gave it a chance.
Sebastian Goess traveled on a Zero SR/S from Germany to North Cape (the northernmost point of continental Europa) to Tarifa in Spain (the southernmost point): 15 countries, almost 15.000 km – for a mere €350. The Turner Twins rode Zero DSR’s for 1600 miles from London to Spain’s Iberian Peninsula and the Pole of Inaccessibility, saying “I know from personal experience that these bikes are capable of racking up hundreds of miles in a day, and with our Type 2 Charge Tank fitted they were able to complete the trip with no incidents whatsoever”.
It’s my pleasure to spread the word about the future of mobility, while also leading the test ride area on 26 and 27 October.

About World of eMobility
The international crossover event dedicated entirely to electric mobility, World of eMobility (WOE), will take place at the EXPO Greater Amsterdam in the Netherlands on October 26th and 27th. Rick Van Rijthoven – organizer WOE: “We’re confident that this year’s event will be as successful as last year”, he explains. “The plan for this edition stays largely the same: exhibitors will showcase their innovative products, lectures (WOE TALKS) and workshops will be held, and visitors will get to test out (WOE DARES) all kinds of eco-friendly vehicles on our indoor and outdoor race track.”
THE PACK Village at Land of The Brave
World of eMobility (WOE) and THE PACK “Electric Motorcycle News” are joining forces to bring electric motorbike/moped manufacturers, automotive designers and custom builders to the Netherlands for an international e-mobility event. On October 26th and 27th, the EXPO Greater Amsterdam will host the “LAND OF THE BRAVE, at WOE” with a special area dedicated to up-and-coming electric mobility startups and designers, called THE PACK VILLAGE.
About Irina
In 2022, she started ElixIR Consult, a creative media agency for the motorcycling industry. The vision is to be flexible and unapologetic and the mission to remove boring stories by driving brands with originality and inspiring them to discover their wild side. ElixIR Consult is specialized in social media management, content marketing & storytelling, photo & video, branding and, lastly, events. In this past year, Irina had the pleasure to work with different international motorcycle brands, motorcycle dealers, detailing shops and more, but also to establish valuable connections in the international automotive (and not only) industry.
Irina states that we often have a fixed mindset from which we can shift our perspective. In her four years organizing test rides for Zero Motorcycles, she has never seen a rider who hasn’t left with an enormous smile on their face. So, it brings her great pleasure to be involved in the World of eMobility event – which is the perfect place to share her enthusiasm for electric motorcycles and mobility as a whole. She wants everyone at the event to know that we are all capable of being the changemakers of today, who will shape the world we live in tomorrow!
