Source: press release Land Moto – Cleveland | LAND Moto has begun shipping out bikes to customers starting mid-March. A few brief supply chain kinks pushed their early 2022 delivery date to the first weeks of April. LAND, leaning on it’s American suppliers and manufacturing partners, has been able to deliver on it’s April 1st delivery date, two weeks early.
LAND is excited to continue to build and ship their flagship product the DISTRICT. The DISTRICT comes in three (3) models; STREET, SCRAMBLER, and STANDARD. The DISTRICT is capable of being a Class-II e-bike with a top speed of 20 mph, an e-moped capable of 37mph and an e-motorcycle with a top speed of 70mph. LAND, coming from over a decade of ICE motorcycle manufacturing, knows how to build a quality motorcycle and solved the problem with current e-bikes manufacturers, top down. High quality partnerships with Fox, Magura and Pirelli only further bolstered their resume. The DISTRICT is a completely fresh take on what an electric motorcycle can be.
The quality, fit and finish of their bikes is apparent at first glance. Open frames and utilitarian design highlight the use of quality parts and materials, rather than hiding them behind plastic body panels. Hot swappable batteries is another important differentiator, allowing the owner the opportunity to continuously upgrade their machine. It’s these conscious decisions that move the LAND DISTRICT from the league of play things to a Buy It For Life (BIFL) machine.
Looking forward, LAND continues it’s push to revitalize manufacturing in their hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. LAND’s brilliant use of Industry 4.0 manufacturing has allowed them to quickly and continuously iterate with new concepts and technologies. Implementing more IoT and cloud based technologies such as, performance and security updates sent over-the-air, appears to be the future for LAND Moto.
