CAKE is thrilled to announce the introduction of the CAKE Enduro Factory Team, including its first two members, Emelie Dahl (SWE) and Robert Kvarnström (SWE).
The team will start off by taking part in a few enduro races in 2023 on their freshly launched Bukk model. Then, come Spring 2024, they plan to take on enduro and off-road challenges all over Europe and America.
Robert Kvarnström, the leader of the CAKE Enduro team says: “I am excited to finally get to race for CAKE. After testing out the Bukk model, Emelie and I are sure we can do well in this circuit. We’re ready to show people that motor power does not always guarantee success – our lap times will be the proof.”
Kvarnström emphasizes the importance of electric, lightweight, and nimble motorcycles with powerful acceleration as key elements shaping the future of the sport. “This will be an eye-opener for many, including myself. We are faster on these machines in several formats and conditions, and it creates many new racing opportunities.”
“With the mission to accelerate towards a zero emission society combining excitement with responsibility, the racing scene has huge potential. This initiative is crucial to have the ability to beat traditional motorcycles on their hometurf, become a clear start for even looking at, considering and eventually even getting its first electric racing machine.” Stefan Ytterborn, CEO & Founder of CAKE stated.
The CAKE Factory Team will race the Bukk Power Light. Bukk is the newest addition to the CAKE lineup and developed the lightest competitive enduro bike on the market.
