Charged Indonesia unveils Ndara: 11kW electric naked sport bike

Charged Indonesia has officially launched the Charged Ndara, its new electric naked sport bike. With 11,000 watts of peak power and a top speed of 125 km/h, the Ndara is the Indonesian brand’s clearest statement yet that domestic electric motorcycle manufacturing is ready to compete at the premium end of the market.

The name draws on Charged Indonesia’s tradition of rooting its products in local culture: Ndara is the Javanese word for horse, a symbol of power and endurance. The design follows that logic, blending organic bodywork with in three colourways: Emerald Green, Graphite Silver, and Midnight Black.

Before the public launch, the company ran the Ndara through the Touring Nusantara, a 1,200-kilometer ride from Cilegon to Bali completed in five days across varied Indonesian terrain. It’s a useful proof point: real-world endurance rather than controlled test track conditions.

Charging uses a Type 2 connector – the same standard as premium electric cars – meaning riders aren’t locked into a proprietary network. Each lithium-ion battery pack weighs 12 kg and holds 4 kWh, charging from 5 to 80 percent in 40 minutes. In dual-battery configuration, range reaches 100 km. The safety suite includes ABS, traction control, hill hold and hill descent assist, while an Overtaking Boost function delivers a temporary power surge on demand. A connected SmartSync instrument panel ties into Charged’s digital ecosystem.

The Ndara is available now in Indonesia at IDR 69,000,000 OTR Jakarta for the single-battery version, and IDR 79,000,000 for dual battery. The same bike will reach Singapore under the name Charged Arena H2, continuing the brand’s expansion across Southeast Asia.
