March 11, 2020 in Caffènation Antwerp … these 2 guys Jeroen-Vincent and Philippe invited me for a cup of coffee and a talk about their project. It’s always fascinating to meet people who have a passion to build their dream motorcycle. But it didn’t stop with dreams …
Flashback: we are in 2018. Philippe Stella and Jeroen-Vincent Nagels have retreated to Cadaqués in Catalunya to work on the project of their electric streetfighter, the Saroléa N60 MM.01. They dream of a modern and clean version of their vintage dirt bikes which they use to get to the center of the village and to enjoy on the many dusty roads in the area. Three years later, almost to the day, the TREVOR DTRe STELLA makes the first runs on the sandy and arid roads of Catalunya.

After several weeks of intensive and conclusive tests in Belgium, it was last week that the first field tests began with Gille Leenknegt, a versatile off-road motorcycle rider who is continually driven by a passion for dirt biking, more particularly for vintage flat track. This included a 6-day riding and testing tour in the province of Girona of Spain with the invaluable logistical support of IVECO NL.
“When Philippe contacted me for the TREVOR project, I was really excited; I am a vintage motorcycle fanatic with a special love for the flat track. Not having any practicable ft tracks in Belgium due to noise restrictions, the “electric” side caught my attention.
Last week was the first time I saw the bike, it was crazy! I had seen the 3D renderings before so I already had something in mind but when I saw it for real, I was totally surprised: robust, racy and bad ass … Great proportions with big wheels and a one-piece body kit – and what a beautiful ass!

Equipped with an 11 kW brushless electric motor and a 2.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack designed by Saroléa Performance Technology, the DTRe STELLA is a sporty and agile flat tracker on all terrains.
Designed in California by John McInnis, its design is clean and modern, with the battery pack integrated into the trellis frame manufactured by Workhorse Speed Shop. Conceived and assembled in Belgium by Saroléa Performance Technology, the DTRe STELLA is available in an off-road only version only or in a street-legal version.

In terms of performance, the DTRe STELLA reaches 90 kph. Its torque of 260 Nm at the rear wheel allows it to weave its way through the urban jungle with agility and to tackle all terrain. Its 2.7 kWh battery offers a range of up to 70 kilometers. Öhlins suspension combined with Dunlop DT3-R tires are resistant to cobblestones, potholes or gravel. To stop the whole thing, strong Beringer brakes combine aesthetics, quality and safety.

The DTRe STELLA is available for reservation in an off-road only version or in a street legal version on the website www.trevormotorcycles.com.
The DTRe STELLA off-road is priced at € 12,995 including tax. As for the street-legal, the DTRe STELLA is priced at € 14,495 including tax.
