A new dynamic is being introduced to French Motoball. An ambitious project launched in 2015 by the French Motorcycling Federation (FFM) aims to open their Motoball championships to electric motorcycles. Following the historic delivery of about fifteen machines nine years ago, the FFM, through its Motoball commission chaired by Pascale Reschko-Jacquot, and the French company Electric Motion, founded by Philippe Aresten, have continued their efforts to refine this project.
Thursday, June 13th, was highly symbolic for one of the oldest disciplines in French motorcycling sport. In the presence of its President, Sébastien Poirier, the French Motorcycling Federation received 30 electric E-Moto V2 machines from the Montpellier-based company Electric Motion. This is a long-term project supported by the French Motorcycling Federation.
Since 2015, the FFM has been working to revolutionize Motoball with electric motorcycles. This ambitious project, backed by the FFM, the Motoball commission chaired by Pascale Reschko-Jacquot, and the French company EM (ELECTRIC MOTION), has made significant progress today.
Sébastien Poirier, President of the FFM:
“The French Motorcycling Federation has invested heavily in this project. We funded the prototype to ensure the excellence of the production of these 30 electric E-Moto V2 machines. The delivery represents the realization of a project initiated several months ago, which is particularly important to us. This structuring project offers new perspectives for this championship and is also a new demonstration of the expertise of our French companies and the richness of our economic sector.”
The U18 teams of seven Moto-Clubs, including Camaret, Houlgate, Neuville, Robion, Suma Troyes, Valreas, and Voujeaucourt, are already equipped with these advanced machines. And this is just the beginning! This project demonstrates FFM’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in motorcycling sport.
