Hero MotoCorp recently showcased the Vida Concept Lynx, an electric off-road motorcycle. Not much information yet but the Lynx electric dirt bike has a 15 kWh motor that is powered by a 3 kW battery. It can be ridden for about an hour before it needs to recharge. The bike weighs 82 kg. According to Hero MotoCorp: “The lightweight frame is designed to provide optimal ride and handling. The bike takes inspiration from lynx cats for its robust and agile geometry, while a patent-pending suspension system distributes weight evenly. The power of the Concept Lynx’s high-performance motor allows it to conquer any terrain, from steep inclines to rocky paths, sandy dunes, and muddy trails. With only 82 kg in weight, riders can tailor regenerative braking and traction control parameters with an accompanying mobile app.”
