THE PACK received an inquiry from RGNT Motorcycles about whether we would be interested in taking their new TURBO model for a brief test ride. “We’re touring Europe to visit our dealers,” explained Gideon Schipaanboord, RGNT’s marketing manager. “Since we’re in the area, we’re excited to showcase our new TURBO model to you.”

Today, we enjoyed a productive gathering at THE PACK’s E-Cave with RGNT Motorcycles and Gert-Jan Rongen from Electric Motorbikes Nederland. RGNT introduced us the TURBO, a new developed electric motorcycle, offering remarkable speed and rapid charging features. This model delivers high performance at an accessible price point, blending modern technology with a vintage design that evokes the rebellious and distinctive style of the 1980s.

Guy Salens – THE PACK: Wow, this motorbike is incredibly fast, and the turbo mode is a real adrenaline rush. Today, I rode the white-purple model, but I’m truly fond of the all-black version with its rebellious vibe. I believe, or rather, I hope that initiatives like this will draw in young people and reignite their interest and excitement for motorcycling. However, I advise young drivers to begin in ‘Normal’ mode and gradually progress to ‘Dynamic’ and then ‘Turbo’.

Drawing inspiration from iconic early-80s models such as the SAAB Turbo, this new generation aims to appeal to a wider and younger audience. It caters to those who value high-quality, timeless design in a vehicle that is not only powerful and easy to maneuver but also, most importantly, fun to ride.
