After a complex year of development and prototyping with China, and with difficulties caused by the pandemic, OX Motorcycles has taken the decision to start their production of the OX One in the QuaZZar Technology Center, in the municipality of Coslada (Madrid region).

“After two years working with factories in China, learning from the number one electric vehicle industry in the world, we have decided to move our production-unit to Spain, putting in value the national capacities and promoting sustainable industry. In addition, we have managed to lower operating costs and provide a closer, local and personalised customer experience. The agreement with QuaZZar Technologies to manufacture OX One in Spain aims to guarantee the highest quality of electric motorcycles designed by OX Motorcycles, while also providing a boost to the motorcycle industry in Spain.

QuaZZar Technologies is currently manufacturing 1,200 units in its Coslada plant and with our recent agreement with OX we have expanded our facilities to 2,000 m2 “. OX Motorcycles, will have a productive capacity in its center of Madrid of 2,000 units per year, with the aim of also supplying its expansion in the European market for the third quarter of 2021.
This manufacturing move allows OX Motorcycles to meet deadline delivery and user experience committed to their customers: OX One, the 100% electric motorcycle with a Café Racer aesthetic designed and manufactured in Spain, will have a maximum speed of 110 km / h and up to 100 km of range, powered by a 6 kW motor and a single removable and easy-to-carry battery, as well as integrating intelligence artificial thanks to the ELISA device, to improve safety and driver experience.

OX One is priced at € 4,100 in Spain, thanks to the help of € 1,100 of the MOVES III Plan and can now be booked for an amount of € 150 from the web: https://ox-motorcycles.com/. OX Motorcycles customers in Spain will be able to test the first units in the month of July and the first OX One will be delivered in October 2021.
