Savic Motorcycles gears up for global expansion with rider-favourite C-Series
Australia’s first high-performance e-motorcycle brand, Savic Motorcycles, is cranking up production of its acclaimed C-Series and laying the groundwork for global expansion. The Melbourne-based manufacturer has assembled a powerhouse leadership team to make it happen, but at the centre of it all is the bike that’s already turning heads on Aussie roads.

The C-Series: Australia’s electric head-turner
Launched to customers earlier this year, the C-Series has been making waves for its blend of raw power, futuristic tech, and rider-first design.
With 200Nm of instant torque, the bike delivers blistering acceleration wrapped in smooth, confidence-inspiring handling. Early riders rave not only about the adrenaline rush but also the subtle smarts under the hood: the C-Series uses edge computing to learn from each rider’s style, fine-tuning its responsiveness and comfort with every ride.

On top of that, the C-Series offers intimate levels of customisation, letting owners shape a machine that feels uniquely theirs. From performance tweaks to aesthetic details, the bike aims to merge the artistry of custom building with the convenience of production engineering.
It’s no surprise that the C-Series has won over Australian motorcycling champions and earned glowing media reviews since deliveries began in February.

Backed by a heavyweight team
Behind the bike is a newly bolstered leadership crew. Founder and CEO Dennis Savic has pulled in some serious talent, including:
- Marc Alexander (CTO) – tech entrepreneur behind Applied EV and LIFX
- Mark Raumer (CFO) – former CFO at Allianz Australia
- Chris Gaspardis (COO) – ex-PACCAR manufacturing lead
- Victoria Brown (Chief Growth Officer) – marketing veteran with McLaren and Rolls-Royce experience
- Logan Kube (CIO) – EV investment strategist from the UK’s Rapid Charging Fund
They join Sasa Savic (software engineering) and Dave Hendroff (design), who have been shaping the C-Series’ smart systems and iconic styling from the start.

“I could not be more excited to have access to the incredible knowledge, skills, and connections of these remarkable individuals,” said Dennis Savic. “With our bikes now being manufactured on a rolling basis, the company is on track to be profitable in a matter of months, at which stage we’ll rapidly scale to meet our ambitious mid-term targets.”
Scaling for the future
At its West Melbourne factory, Savic Motorcycles has rolled out a new assembly line and specialised tooling to accelerate production, with 230 C-Series orders currently in the queue. A global powertrain assembly hub in China is also on the horizon, part of Savic’s plan to take the bike international.
Behind Savic’s executive team stands a non-executive board whose collective expertise spans EV manufacturing, renewable energy, automotive sales, and venture capital. Board Chair Nicholas Adamo brings more than financial acumen from his Deloitte and EY partnership days, he’s a passionate automotive enthusiast who advises tech startups, runs a classic car VC fund, and owns the only private racetrack in Australia.

The board features industry heavyweights like Kel Kearns, whose three decades at Ford preceded his current role developing EV batteries for Daimler and Isuzu trucks in the US. Justin Hocevar contributes his experience leading Asia-Pacific sales operations for Renault, MINI, Jaguar, and now INEOS Automotive. Recent addition Chris Ball, who directs international sales at renewable energy giant TGOOD Global, rounds out this motorcycle-loving leadership collective, bringing crucial expertise as Savic prepares for global expansion.
From Aussie icon to global contender
The C-Series may have started as a bold vision in Melbourne, but it now represents a serious challenger in the global electric motorcycle space. Savic’s flagship is shaping up as more than just an Australian success story, it could be the next global cult bike.
