THE PACK Plaza at EV Experience 2025 brings two-wheeled mobility to the public
What is it with storms and EV Experience in the Netherlands?
It almost seems like the elements are not on our side. Last year, thunderstorms rolled over our pagoda tents, and this year part of storm Amy joined us on Saturday, October 4th. But of course, that couldn’t spoil the fun.
Despite the weather, THE PACK Plaza at EV Experience 2025 once again proved just how much momentum the electric two-wheeler industry is gaining. For the second year in a row, THE PACK Plaza brought together electric motorbike and moped brands at Circuit Zandvoort. Visitors had the chance to experience first-hand the thrill of riding some electric motorbikes and mopeds, while other industry players in the new EV-Pavilion showcased how technology and sustainability are shaping the future of mobility.
Highlights from THE PACK Plaza 2025
THE PACK Plaza 2025 was packed with memorable firsts and high-energy experiences:
- DAB Motors “primeur”: DAB Motors handed over the very first DAB sold in the Netherlands, marking a milestone for electric two-wheelers in the country.
- Zero Motorcycles excitement: Zero Motorcycles drew huge interest, with many visitors registering to ride their electric motorbikes on the test track. Riders experienced the Zero DSR/X and the light electric off-road motorcycles, XE and XB (45 km/h version), giving the public a tangible sense of how fun, agile, and accessible electric mobility can be.
- Mopedix from Czechia: the Czech startup Mopedix came all the way to showcase their new moped, the Mopedix Electrix, a minimalist, steel-framed moped designed with ergonomics, durability, and versatility in mind. Multi-brand store Electric Motorbikes will promote Mopedix in the Benelux.
- Motomondo presentation: key motorbike distributor Motomondo presented the Ultraviolette F77 to a large public, demonstrating growing interest in high-performance electric motorcycles.
- LiveWire by Harley-Davidson: LiveWire showcased the Del Mar and Mulholland, two bikes from the S2-platform (with the Alpinista as the third model). From August 28 to October 31, 2025, riders could take advantage of significant incentives on LiveWire’s full S2 lineup through the ‘Twist & Go’ promotion, which reduced entry pricing.
- Naxeon: the futuristic urban electric motorcycle Naxeon I Am drew a lot of attention. Packed with technology, this one-of-a-kind LEV is perfect for city mobility and is imported by multi-brand store Electric Motorbikes.
- Zeeho by CFMoto: presented by BW Import Europe, Zeeho is a new sub-brand leveraging global engineering and infrastructure to focus on electric mobility and urban commuting, showcasing the international investment in sustainable two-wheeled transport.
- SELANA Steps: the SELANA team made it just in time to join THE PACK Plaza during their SELANA Alpha Tour through the Netherlands, presenting the first legal electric step in the country. The public showed a lot of interest in this innovative urban mobility solution, highlighting the growing popularity of micro-mobility options.
Why electric two-wheelers matter
Electric two-wheelers aren’t just about fun and performance, they are a key solution for sustainable urban mobility. Their benefits are clear:
- Clean & quiet: reducing emissions and noise pollution in cities.
- Efficient & agile: perfect for urban commuting and last-mile logistics.
- Accessible innovation: from high-performance e-motorcycles to affordable mopeds, the market is opening doors for a wide range of users.
As cities and governments accelerate the transition toward clean mobility, the role of two-wheelers becomes increasingly critical. They represent freedom, practicality, and sustainability all in one. It’s good to hear that RAI Association is lobbying for the European driving license to ride an 11 kW motorbike in the Netherlands (= comparable with a traditional combustion motorbike of 125cc) with your car driving license.
Looking ahead: EV Experience 2026
The energy and enthusiasm at THE PACK Plaza this year confirmed one thing: the future of two-wheeled mobility is electric. And the story doesn’t stop here. We’re excited to announce that THE PACK Plaza will return for the third edition at EV Experience 2026, taking place September 24–26, 2026 at Circuit Zandvoort.
