The founders and owners of Trevor Motorcycles, Jeroen-vincent Nagels and Philippe Stella, reached out to THE PACK to showcase an innovative project called ‘VERIDIS’. Trevor Motorcycles has recently created their second electric motorcycle, the ‘DTRe Vince’, which is now entering production. Their initial model was the DTRe Stella, a minimalist electric off-road flat track bike.

Otis West and Luke Robbins crossed paths for the first time at the Bike Shed in February 2024, an unexpected meeting that would ignite something extraordinary. Otis had already impressed many with Second Wave, his earlier creation that captivated spectators at the 2022 Bike Shed Show. However, this time, they aimed to take things to a whole new level. By joining forces — Luke with his expertise in Design and Otis with his skills in Engineering — they embarked on a journey to create something even more ambitious, conceptual, and daring.

They soon realized that to truly challenge the norms and create something innovative for the future, it needed to be electric. Their exploration took them to Belgium, where they found Trevor Motorcycles, an innovative electric motorcycle manufacturer that instantly seemed to be the ideal platform base for their vision. From that point, they fully immersed themselves in the process: crafting a concept that was both revolutionary and respectful, a daring new interpretation grounded in the traditions of Flat Track racing.

When Jeroen-vincent and Philippe were shown the design, their enthusiasm immediately mirrored that of Otis and Luke. Their confidence in the project provided both approval and a platform to bring Veridis into existence.
In October 2024, the Veridis team journeyed to Lelystad Raceway to meet with the Trevor team and watch their bike compete against its combustion-era rivals. The experience heightened their enthusiasm. Back in their Antwerp office, they planned the next six months with a single objective: to showcase at the Bike Shed Show 2025 — a full-circle moment that would encapsulate every part of their journey.

By December 2024, the bike made its way to London. Luke and Otis set up shop in a workshop and immediately got to work. Otis focused on optimizing the bike for racing by lowering the battery, redesigning the swingarm, and perfecting the front-end geometry for maximum performance. At the same time, Luke started transforming their 2D concept into a 3D model, meticulously crafting a body to fit the newly designed frame.

With a seamless feedback loop and complete creative harmony, they operated at maximum capacity, continuously iterating and perfecting the design until it was prepared to transition from digital concept to real-world application.
The ultimate body design, influenced by aerospace engineering, was realized through advanced carbon composite 3D printing, embodying a forward-thinking method for a machine built for the future.

Luke Robbins: “We are incredibly grateful to Jeroen-vincent, Philippe, and the entire team at Trevor Motorcycles for their unwavering support. Veridis wouldn’t exist without their belief in the project — and we can’t wait to share it with the world.”
To be continued.
