It’s really sad to see that even in 2022 one person can create all this darkness when we speak. When I posted my sympathy for a few Ukrainian light electric vehicles brands (on social media) in the beginning of this war, the first reaction from a Facebook user was that I was very stupid to choose side as a company. As many people I was shocked by all these acts of violence: the terrorist attacks on the Ukrainian people, the bombing of residential areas, not respecting the ceasefire despite the agreements (even in war, there are humanitarian laws, Mr Russia!), the exodus of many Ukrainian families, the young men and the fathers saying goodbye at the borders to their loved ones to fight against the Russian aggressor. I hope this aggression can be stopped as soon as possible.
Crowdfunding Campaign
With THE PACK, I was already following this new Ukrainian start up company EMGo Technology since 2020. EMGo Technology is an engineering unit involved in electric transport and green energy. The team created the electric scooter RAZZO and also developed a product line of energy storage devices, including “smart batteries”. For the production of the new electric motorcycle “ScrAmper” they are now launching a crowdfunding campaign at Indiegogo. You’ll get a 21% discount when you order a ScrAmper. For motorcycle stores or new dealers the purchase price becomes even more interesting for larger quantities (from 25% discount to 34% !!). This button below goes to the crowdfunding campaign. This crowdfunding action will start at 31 March 2022 – 15:00 hrs.
Support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the EMGo Technology crowdfunding campaign
Team EMGo: “At the moment we are launching our product and at the same time, we want to help our army. Our ScrAmper motorbike is great for exploring the area in stealth mode and silent patrol actions. We have decided to produce 1 ScrAmper for the Armed Forces of Ukraine with every 15th motorcycle sold at our crowdfunding campaign. One Smart Mini Box with a power of 2 kW will be handed over with each 2 motorcycles for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.”
(NOTE: We understand that you may be concerned that every motorcycle you buy from us, will go to the army – NO, this is not the case. We will spend part of the profits from 15 motorcycles to produce one additional motorcycle for the army. The more motorcycles you order, the more motorbikes and substations we can produce for the Armed Forces of Ukraine).
Battery
EMGo has developed a battery with a rated power of almost 10 kW (92.4V 104Ah). It has been developed and patented with their own cell cooling system, which allows the user to load the battery with a long peak of 24 kW for 30 minutes without cell degradation and not exceeding a temperature of 40° C, while maintaining a durability of 3000 charge/discharge cycles. At the same time, the battery works with the controller and on-board computer using their own CAN-protocol. The battery will do fine in hot countries such as UAE, South Africa and other places where it is predominantly hot, and batteries from other companies do not do well.
Charger (type 2)
EMGo installed a powerful charger on board the motorcycle, which is able to charge the motorcycle from 0 to 80% in one hour, and from 0 to 100% in 90 minutes. You do not need to carry anything with you, everything is already installed on the motorcycle, the maximum you will need is the charging adapter cable, which EMGo will give you in the kit provided that you need to charge from a regular outlet. This electric motorbike is the first in the world in this price category, supports the Type 2 automotive standard, has a CCS (Mennekes) car connector on board, so you can charge the motorcycle both from a regular 110-220VAC outlet (the plug will be according to your country’s standards) and from car charging stations.
Engine and transmission
The ScrAmper has an integrated brushless DC electric motor with a nominal power of 9 kW and a peak power of 16 kW (7200 RPM) with a 4-speed gearbox. The transmission works similarly to gasoline. The ability of the electric motor to reach a peak power of 16 kW and the ability of the battery to provide the engine with such energy which creates a very dynamic character.
Suspension
A high ground clearance of 207 mm made it possible to make a hybrid of an urban and off-road motorcycle. It holds the road perfectly, while on it you can easily pull over to the side of the road and drive through the forest without fear that there will not be enough height.

Guy Salens, THE PACK: “I hear some of you think whether a campaign for a motorcycle is important for the moment? Now that aid & fund actions are being launched worldwide for the country of Ukraine … I can only encourage these humanitarian actions, they are needed for sure, but we also have to look to the future now, the new build up from the Ukrainian economy. That’s why THE PACK supports this action and shares it to the world. Today we promote EMGo Technology but tomorrow it is perhaps another electric light vehicle company. Hereby a shout out to other Ukrainian companies: if THE PACK can help with any publications of your light electric vehicles, I would be happy to publish and promote your products!” Please contact me at hello@motorguy.eu
