CAKE is getting ready to move on to Stage 2 of “The Electric Conquest of Continents,” which consists of a trip across North America. Jackie Rosenstein, the US Sales Manager for CAKE, and Bobbie Long, a friend of hers, will be leading this incredible journey. It starts in New York City at CAKE’s :Site and picks up the Trans-America Trail in West Virginia. The majority of their ride will take place over dirt, gravel, forest, and farm roads until they reach Albuquerque, New Mexico. From there, it’s a picturesque jaunt down iconic Route 66 all the way to its end point at Santa Monica Pier. They’ll wrap up their adventure at CAKE’s LA :Site in Marina Del Rey.

The Electric Conquest of Continents will begin on October 19, 2023. This marks the next stage in the journey after Sinje Gottwald’s solo and unsupported ride from Barcelona to Cape Town during spring 2023. Sinje’s thrilling journey continues to be an inspiration for this fundamental mission and vision of this ever-growing global project.

The goal is to take over all the continents, one after the other, with a team of exclusively female riders. Aside from connecting with folks while traveling by carbon-free transportation and savoring the sensation of silently riding along, it’s also an opportunity to put the durability of CAKE equipment to the test.
